Prior to your sauna session

Drink plenty of water!

Arrive at your appointment as if you’ve just stepped out of a shower – free from deodorants, moisturisers, makeup, and other other lotions and potions.

This helps to keep the sauna clean, fresh and free from staining ensuring a pleasant experience for yourself and others.

During your sauna session

Drink plenty of water! 

For health and hygiene reasons, clean underwear/bathers must be worn at all times in respect to other clients that will also be using the sauna.

Please do not use any towels brought from home or otherwise. They may carry fragrance and toxins from detergents or other outside sources which we don’t want in the sauna. We provide fresh, professionally cleaned towels for you to use.

If at any stage you start to feel dizzy, disorientation, nausea, shortness of breath, erratic heartbeat or something that just ‘doesn’t feel quite right’, stop the sauna session immediately.

After your sauna session

Drink plenty of water!

Dry yourself off and sit for a moment to allow your body to cool down.

When you’re ready, make your way out into the waiting area and feel free to take a seat and relax for a moment.

We encourage the use of our premium isotonic drink, Restore, which is a balanced mix of naturally occurring plant based minerals and ingredients, crafted to improve hydration and recovery – with added electrolytes, magnesium and amino acids.

Powdered sachets are available for just $3 each and can be easily mixed with cold water, or even coconut water.

How long should I use the Sauna for?

This is going to vary from person to person but we highly recommend that if you’ve never used a sauna before to begin with a 30 minute session.

For those who use a sauna on a regular basis and are a little more accustomed to the experience, it is available for up to 45 minutes.

Are Far Infrared Saunas Safe?

Yes! Health Professionals have been using far infrared technology for years.

Have you ever gone to a Physiotherapist with a sprain and they put a red heat lamp on it? Well, that’s infrared.

Infrared treatment is also widely used in burn units to accelerate healing as well as hospital baby care incubators.

Far infrared is from the safest end of the sun’s spectrum and is also something that our warm body generates.

Is it safe to use daily?

Absolutely! Having said that, if you’ve never experienced a sauna before, we suggest you start with a 30 minute session and see how you feel.
